  2. This intake rocks 5 Star Review

I have used this intake in natural aspirated form and with a 69 mm turbocharger installed. It worked well in both cases. My 4.6L was stock internally, with stock exhaust, steeda cold air, steeda underdrive pulleys and an axle exchange aluminum driveshaft. At the Texas Mile my 07 Mustang went 148.057 and a 148.509 mph. My mustang has 3.55 gears and a Tremec 3650 manual transmission. I installed this manifold and and a set of JBA equal length shorty headers and back to the mile. The car pulled really good and I was sure 151 to 152 mph was within reach. On the first run the car started a mild shake at 120 mph and by the time I reached 133 mph the shake was too much. It felt like one of my new high speed tires was out of round. Indeed my front left tire had gotten past quality control and to a tire store. I went back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and replaced the tire. I then did the only rational thing a true mustang gearhead could. I bought a turbonetics turbocharger kit for my Mustang. Goodbye 140's and 150's,hello 162.3 mph. I now have a new MMR built shortblock. Time to up the boost from 12 psi to 17. Looking for 180 to 185 mph in October 2013. Like I said, this intake is a real bargain and works very good on these 3 valve engines. These 3 valve engine love more air.
